Adeyemi Roberts is a Portfolio Manager at RMB Nigeria Asset Management Ltd. His role is to make investment decisions and optimise portfolio performance in line with client goals and risk tolerance.

 

Adeyemi is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), with a BSc in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He also has an MSc in Finance, Investment and Risk from the University of Kent.

He gained a wealth of experience managing various mutual funds and private structured products at FBNQuest Asset Management Ltd where he consistently delivered above average returns to investors. He also managed multi-asset class portfolios during his tenure with Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Ltd.

His strong analytical abilities enable him to discern market trends and make informed investment decisions. His risk assessment techniques furthermore empowers him to navigate portfolio volatility with finesse. His communication skills cultivate robust client relationships to ensure effective conveyance of investment strategies and fostering trust. With a keen attention to detail, strategic acumen, and a penchant for thriving in dynamic environments, Adeyemi embodies the qualities required for success in the role as portfolio manager.

Transitioning to RMB presented Adeyemi with an exhilarating opportunity to embark on a fresh journey and challenge where he could leverage his expertise and vision to contribute to the firm’s dynamic environment. When not working, Adeyemi is a keen football fan and also plays basketball; believing that he would have been “the next Michael Jordan of basketball” if he didn’t enter the corporate world.
